In my blog post on former Congressman Virgil Goode perhaps running for President in 2012 on the Constitution Party ticket I said if I ran for a third party office it would be as a member of the Constitution Party. That begs the question: What would be Sandy’s platform?
End all needless do-good wars started by either party and bring most of the troops home
Get out of the WTO, NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT and other “free trade” pacts that zap manufacturing jobs from our nation
Look into if by our leaving the UN we could kill it! If so, get out!
Have my White House counsel review every prior executive order with an eye toward repealing most of them
No more Agenda 21 and ICLEI membership would be illegal (The first cabinet secretary who used the phrase “sustainable development” would be warned and the second would be asked to resign!)
Send a balanced budget to Congress and abolish most of the work of the Departments of Education and Energy – and that’s a good start!
No more CAFE standards and a review of all environmental regulations to get rid of many of them: People and property are more important than animals!
Of course repeal Obamacare and Dodd/Frank (and Sarbanes/Oxley where we are at it!)
Privatize Social Security in the Chilean model
Protect Medicaid and Medicare but tighten up requirements
Strictly enforce the immigration laws against employers but I would have to review eVerify so it does not become a national Id card
NO REAL (DANGEROUS) ID!
Reform severely airport security; privatize it instead (I would arm and deputize the pilots as federal law enforcement!)
Review of UN treaties proposed and ratified and make a recommendation to Congress. (The usual recommendation will be NO!)
Pass a Parental Rights statute to see if that will prevent any mischief caused by the UN Child Treaty
Well, there’s more I am sure but I am sure many will say: That sounds great, Sandy – why don’t you run? Because we have a candidate that is pretty close to all those positions that is more qualified and has a REAL chance to win: RON PAUL!
So, get out there and root for Ron!
